MechE Junior @ University of Delaware

I’m a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Delaware, based in the East Coast. Last summer, I interned in UD’s Neuromuscular Biomechanics Lab, researching gait detection using an insole sensor developed by the Center for Composite Materials. This past winter, through UD’s Research Experience for Undergraduates program, I pivoted to build a one-click 3D reconstruction pipeline using Gaussian Splatting for drone imagery - an extension of work from the undergraduate VIP: Drones research group.

During the academic year, I lead VIP: Drones, TA a freshman technical communications course and Spencer Lab testing suite, serve as a student ambassador for the College of Engineering, and train for triathlons. I’m drawn to systems design, cognitive psychology, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

I’m currently working through 1–2 week build sprints to develop a working competency in real-time control and sensor fusion.
